Ready Set Reline specialises in performing CCTV drain inspections across Sydney. Our owner Ryan trained on-site at the Brawoliner factory in Germany, which means we can repair any faults we find and all work is carried out to the Plumbing Code of Australia (PCA) using WaterMark-approved materials that meet AS/NZS 3500. You deal directly with the crew doing the work, never a subcontractor.

What is it?
What is a CCTV drain inspection?
A CCTV drain inspection uses a waterproof camera on a flexible cable, fed into your drain through an existing access point, to record live video of the inside of your pipes. It shows the exact location, depth and cause of a blockage or fault, cracks, tree roots, collapses, misalignment, corrosion or debris, without digging anything up.
Also called a drain camera inspection, CCTV drain survey or sewer camera inspection, it’s the diagnostic step that comes before any drainage repair. A locating sonde in the camera head transmits its position to a receiver above ground, so we can mark the exact spot on the surface and measure how deep it sits.
The point is simple: it replaces guessing. Without a camera, a plumber is inferring what’s wrong from symptoms. With one, you both see it.
How much does a CCTV drain inspection cost?
Across Sydney, a CCTV drain inspection typically costs between $200 and $600, depending on the plumber, the length of pipe inspected and whether you get a written report and footage.
With Ready Set Reline, it’s free as part of your quote. We don’t charge you to find out what’s wrong, because the inspection is how we price the job accurately. You see the footage, you get an honest recommendation, and you’re under no obligation to proceed.
What can it see
What a drain camera finds
A camera turns an invisible problem into something you can see and act on:
The most important part, it also tells you what’s not wrong. Plenty of drains block once from something harmless, and a camera confirms the pipe is sound so you don’t spend money on repairs you don’t need.
Step-by-Step
How the Camera Inspection Works
We find the access point
An inspection opening, boundary trap or removed fixture, no digging required.
The camera goes in
A waterproof, self-levelling camera head on a flexible push rod is fed through the pipe, lighting and filming as it travels.
You watch it live
The feed comes back to a monitor and you can watch with us. We explain what you’re seeing in plain English as we go.
We locate and mark the fault
The sonde in the camera head transmits to a receiver above ground, so we can mark the exact position on the surface and record the depth.
Service Area
Suburbs we serve across Sydney
Ready Set Reline is based in Roseville and delivers pipe relining services right across Sydney. We work daily through the North Shore, Lower North Shore, Northern Beaches, Eastern Suburbs, Inner West, Hills District and the CBD.
These are exactly the areas where pipe relining earns its keep. Sydney’s established suburbs are full of pre-war homes on leafy streets, where original earthenware and clay drains sit under mature trees, heritage gardens and paved driveways. Digging is expensive and often restricted, relining from the inside is not.
